Our roman blinds are machine sewn and supplied fully strung, attached to a child safe chain operated head rail ready to hang. All of our blinds are expertly hand stabbed which means there will be no visible stitching on the face of the blind.

For roman blinds that will fit inside the window recess the exact recess width and drop should be given. (see guide to window measuring). The width of the finished blind will be 1cm smaller for smooth operation of the blind. No allowance will be made for the drop. For roman blinds that will fit outside the window recess decide on the overlap required beyond the recess width and drop. State these measurements as blind size. No allowance will be made.

Roller blinds can be made from suitable fabrics which are laminated with a stiff backing cloth. Most fabrics can be laminated without changing the appearance of the fabric. White laminate is standard. Translucent laminate is used with voiles, but the maximum width for this is 1200mm. All roller blinds are sidewinder operated with a choice of brass, chrome or white chains

Blinds can be rolled normally, where they roll off the back of the roller or reverse rolled which allows the fabric to roll off the front of the roller. Reverse rolling means that the laminated backing is not seen at the top, however the blind will not sit so close to the window and will let in more light.

For roller blinds that will fit inside the window recess the exact recess width and drop should be given. (see guide to window measuring). The overall width of the finished blind will be 6mm smaller for smooth operation of the blind. No allowance will be made for the drop. For roller blinds that will fit outside the window recess decide on the overlap required beyond the recess width and drop. State these measurements as blind size. No allowance will be made.

Sliding panels provide versatile coverage of window for a contemporary look. Designed to stack behind each other to produce a subtle layering effect. They hang vertically from a slim aluminum white track and attached by touch and close® with aluminum weight at the base. The panel is hand sewn or laser cut as appropriate. The floating panels are hand operated via draw rods available in various lengths.

For sliding panels that fit inside the window recess the exact recess width and drop should be given. (see guide to window measuring). An allowance will be made for the width and drop. For sliding panels that will fit outside the window recess decide on the overlap required beyond the recess width and drop. State these measurements as panel size. An allowance of 12mm will be made on the drop so they do not touch the floor.

Blind Linings

  • Unlined Blinds will be made up in your chosen fabric without any lining.
  • Lined Blinds will be lined with 100% Cotton Sateen in ivory as standard.
  • Blackout lining Blinds will be lined with blackout fabric which reduces the amount of light coming through the curtains. Ideal for bedrooms, especially children's rooms.
  • Interlined/Lined Blinds will be made with your chosen fabric and interlined bump interlining, which adds body and insulation. They are then lined with 100% Cotton Sateen. All interlined curtains are hand stabbed. We recommend that silk fabrics are interlined to protect them from the sun.
